The Budos Band

Talented musical group, The Budos Band will be performing at the Hiro Ballroom this Saturday, January 12th. The funk, Afro-beat, and soul sound of their music are a signature of their label, Daptone Records. Other notable artists on the Daptone label include Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, The Mighty Imperials, and Sugarman 3. All of which record out of the labels own studio, Daptone House of Soul, located in Bushwick, Brooklyn. The Daptone label, specifically The Dap-Kings have recently gained noteriety due to musical collaborations with Mark Ronson, Amy Winehouse, and Lily Allen.
Featured artists include: Jose Conde Y Ola Fresca, Zemog El Gallo Bueno, and Burkina Electric.
