In the last month there has been a bunch of great movies. Many seem to be heavy-handed, violent, and overly dramatic. One exception is the “Juno.” The movie is about a precocious young outsider, Juno (Ellen Page) who gets pregnant at the tender age of 16. Her boyfriend, Paulie Bleeker (Michael Cera) is a quiet boy who is supportive but really scared. The movie is hilarious in an honest way. It features original dialogue, quirky filmmaking, and one of the years best soundtracks.

We recently stopped by a NYC school with some cold refreshing Teany beverages to keep those hard-working students refreshed, rehydrated, and most importantly, focused on their scholastic responsibilities! Maybe we didn’t succeed in all three, but they had a great time and loved the drinks.
Lower East Side Teany

We spent the last few weeks about town, walking around, having taste tests, bets, and meeting new people in the Lower East Side. Although the weather has gotten a bit cooler, we think it filters out the less worthy, leaving us with the true characters of the LES.

Teany made a brief stop by New York’s fabled Belmont Lounge, located right around the corner from the Fillmore Theater.
